Well here it is folks. This took me a bit longer than expect but here you have it, my finished Shanna picture. :la:

For those unfamiliar with the character, she is the companion of Ka-Zar from the Savage Land in Marvel Comics.

This was inspired by some cool art I saw by Frank Cho.

Anyway, this was sketched and then inked by hand. I coloured it with coloured pencil, scanned it and touched it up a bit in Photoshop.

I think I am a bit happier with this effort compared to my last couple of female drawings :P

i find that the background is actually more realistic looking and captivating than the actual subject of the photo, though she survives on her own merit, great work

This is a cool piece. I dig the character, pose and composition. One thing I wanna mention is the lighting and luminosity of the piece. Your shading is quite good, but I feel that the the moon and the light that it casts on the character should be much brighter. I see that you have it there, but if you just pushed it closer to a pure white, I feel it would help the piece really pop.
